Pre-registration

We strongly encourage you to pre-register. Our T-shirt orders, food orders, and support staff are all based off of the number of riders who have pre-registered. Of course we do plan for many day-of -ride registrants, but it is very difficult to determine how many "extras" we should order. What happens if you don't pre-register and show up the day of the Death Ride? That's OK. We will still welcome you with open arms, provide you with plenty of water, and send you on your merry way down the course. However, there will be a few things that you may not be guaranteed:

  1. We cannot guarantee we will have food for you.
  2. We cannot guarantee we will have water for you.
  3. We cannot ID your car if you don't show up at the end of the ride.
  4. You will NOT get a finisher medal.

If you plan to ride this event and you want to receive the Finisher's Medal, then you need to pre-register. We would love to be able to provide a medal to everyone, but our first priority is to provide medals to those who pre-registered. It is difficult to estimate beyond that number for those that register day-of -ride, and we do not need a large number of left-overs. Again, this is not a problem as long as you understand that you will not get a medal if you do not pre-register. You can still buy a T-shirt, but we will not make an additional run of medals. Fully expect this to fall under the Act of Stupidity Clause.

Fees and T-Shirts

The fees cover the cost of rest stops and rest stop munchies. They also make sure we can get drinkable water on the route, cover the costs of porta potties and the entertainment on both days, plus all the other myriad of expenses we incur on this ride. Sunday's fee includes one ticket to the food feast. It does not include a T-shirt! There will be a limited number of extra T-shirts available for sale on a first come bases.
